Native Product Upgrade / Price Difference Payment

I want a native "upgrade" feature in the payment module that allows a customer to upgrade from one product to another (e.g., Solo to Hybride) by only paying the price difference, without having to create manual workarounds like specific upgrade products or discount codes.
